The district’s capital program consists of significant upgrades and renovations to the elementary and high schools, bus garage, civic center (ice arena), and athletic fields.  Besides general building renovation work to the exterior shells (roofing, windows, etc.), numerous bathrooms are being remodeled, gymnasiums are receiving upgrades, and the main auditorium is being redone with new architectural finishes and electrical upgrades.  The civic center is receiving a second level on its enclosed spectator space, additional locker room space, and various mechanical enhancements.  Several natural athletic fields are being reconstructed and provided with various upgrades.  Lastly, there is a significant amount of HVAC units that are being replaced with more energy efficient equipment in the District’s main offices located at both the elementary and high schools.
