The Capital Project and Energy Performance Contracts consist of various enhancements to the District’s main building and the surrounding site infrastructure. Several classrooms, restrooms, main auditorium, and corridors are being renovated, along with various mechanical, electric, and plumbing upgrades. The school building will be receiving new boilers, HVAC equipment, a new fire alarm system, wireless and surveillance enhancements, an updated electrical service feed, and more. Several entrance stairways are being replaced on the exterior of the building. Additionally, all of the athletic fields surrounding the building are being reconstructed with natural turf and irrigation. New playgrounds, basketball courts, an amphitheater, and a public walking path are also part of the site improvements.
